VISION, MISSION & VALUES

Macaulay & Riddell has been in existence since 1903.  The Firm has conducted practise as Attorneys, Notaries Public and Conveyancers in Ladysmith. It  also has a branch office at Bergville, which has operated for some 75 years.

Our vision is to improve and enhance the legal services, which this firm has provided over the many years of its existence.  During this time we have attempted to strive for excellence not only in the advice offered to clients, the quality of service rendered but at the same time to adhere to a principled attitude to all sectors of our client base.

While being a long established firm, we are certainly not old fashioned.  Long before transformation, this firm embraced the value of employing and training persons from across the gender, language, cultural and racial divides.  It still embraces that value.

One of this firm’s core values has been to offer our clients a good and honest service in a wide range of legal fields at a competitive charge rate.  At the same time the firm is dedicated to high professional and ethical standards.  The firm has secured a wide and diversified client base through the delivery of professional services and advice in all aspects of the law.  We find the old cliché “actions speak louder than words” quite appropriate to the continued generation and growth of our client base.
